Default [Add Scritp] - a new installed is required?

    Hi,
When I add custom script to some node group the nodes by ngedit
or inserting into DB, this group are setting as expired. So this is ok,
but Does the only way execute the reinstallation of the nodes? The host
doesn't turn into installed if we don't re-installed the node. Is that
possible or I am doing something wrond?

I would like to add, I run the following commands
    cfmsync -n "group" -f -u
    cfmsync -f -u=20
    cfmsync -f=20

    Agustin

Default [Add Scritp] - a new installed is required?

    Hi Agustin

The custom scripts are provided at install time, so if you change a =
custom script the only way to get the script to the node is to =
reinstall. That's why it changes the state of the node.

    Hi Agustin

The intent of the custom scripts were for configuring the node to work =
in your environment. Admins sometimes have shell scripts they run to =
configure a machine to the way they like. This allows the admin to =
    continue to use those scripts.

If you want this to work with cfmsync, then you need to deliver your =
script as part of an rpm, then you can use the "cfmsync -p" to install =
the rpm and run your script.

    Hi Mark,
Yes, I agree about the shell script customization. I use the
cfmsym command because, this tool provide the cluste with an update
mechanism of packages and configuration. So, I though that the script
works under this mechanism. However, this is partially true, because it
is necessary to deploy a new image on the nodes.=20
