    Default cfmsync -f stopped working

I just noticed that the shadow file linked against /etc/shadow into my cfm nodegroup directory is not updated using the command cfmsync -f.

Tried restarting cmfd on nodes, but that did not fix it. It was working, suddenly stopped. Any ideas?

I am also having issues with cfmsync -f . I added /etc/cfm/etc/security/limits.conf and ran "cfmsync -f" and the file was not updated.

    just had the same problem.
check the tail of /var/log/cfmclient.log on the client side and check for errors.

from the log, the errors were communication related with the server. Specific problem:

CFMclient failed to read and download necessary files through http://server_ip_address

For some reason httpd on the server was off.

I also disabled both the firewall and selinux - for some strange reason they were enabled. Probably enabled (!?!) after an update.

    running Scientific Linux 5.4
