Updating and Patching a OCS Cluster
Thanks Liming
I'll try updating a fedora repository and see how things go. I'll let
you all know if I'm successful.

Hi All,=20
=20
I have a question regarding updating a OCS cluster.
=20
Just as an example lets assume I have a Fedora Core 6 cluster and I want
to update the cluster with new rpms from the fedora repository on the
internet.
=20
Can I use the Platform OCS repoman snapshot facility in combination with
update-repo to update the snapshot then use the snapshot repo to
provision a few machines. Test the updates on those machines and if
everything goes well....can I merge the updates back into the original
repository? And remove the snapshot?
=20
I'm looking for the best practices for patching a cluster in OCS 5 - and
I would like to know how you guys would do it.
=20
Thanks.

Bill.
