Thread: How to create an Article?

Creating an article is more or less as that of creating a new thread post, however there are a few elements more than normal post.
The components that exists within an article posting includes:

a) Options
b) Post New Article
c) Additional Options

a) Options



Title - Name of the article.
Byline - An acccompanying line that comes right after your Title, could be seen in the directory. (optional)
Synopsis - A brief summary of the article (optional)


b) Post New Article



As per normal thread posting.

c) Additional Options



You can config setting for your article over here. Normally you can leave as the inital setting, but then of course, you can also config it to suit your needs.

Miscellanous Options - Automatically parsing the text links and retrieve titles for your external links, or disabling the use of similes in your text. Simply trigger on and off of the checkbox.
Attach Files - You could add attachments related to the mentioned article.
Article Subscription - Subscribing yourself to notification of new posts/comments for the article, so that you will be able to keep notified of the latest inputs from the public.
Post a Poll - Creating a poll.

*Note: Please do be advised that, blogs and articles are different. Hence if you would like to convert your blog entry to become an article entry, you would have to do it manually (copy and paste).
