Default LIM can not detect correct CPU and number of cores on non virtual machine

    Hi

We are running LSF 6.2 and RHEL4U7. The lim running on slave node is not able to determine the correct number of cores and memory on the system and hence not reporting it to master correctly.

lsf logs have following which indicates some problem or interference with xen, but we certainly have not enabled xen on system.

numCpus:xend is not up, ncpus maybe wrong, please start xend and restart lim
    isXendNodeUp: xend is not running

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

Never encountered the error but If I had to guess, your lim needs to be patched to support the newer OS (since 6.2 is quite old). I checked the platform site and this is a supported OS for LSF 6.2 .

But you need to be on a valid support contract to download the latest patches for 6.2.

Thanks for the reply. You are right, LSF needs to be patched

    Thanks.
