    Default LSF 7.0 farm on windows with shared file system

    Hi all,

    i am just in start up to create a LSF cluster on windows, just wondering can u use shared file system to configure windows based cluster, if yes please let me know the document or steps that details me how to create windows based LSF7.0 farm... i gone thru the LSF 7.0 document but it never tells me to install it on shared file system... please suggest me on this...

    Hi Manjunath, it is documented , please see the lsf_windows_install.pdf file in the documentation folder.

    Here's a sample:

    Plan and prepare your systems for installation
    ◆Choose LSF hosts (master host, master candidates, database host, server hosts, and client-only hosts).
    ◆Choose an installation directory that is available on every host.
    ◆For failover purposes, create and share the shared directory (e.g.,
    \\HostF\EGOshare
    ).
    Ensure the shared directory is accessible with the same path name from all master candidates.
