To see when your LSF licenses expire, you need to look in the
license file itself. At least, I'm not aware of any FlexLM command
that will query the server and tell you the expiration date.
To find out which license file you're using, look in your lsf.conf
for the LSF_LICENSE_FILE line. For example:
LSF_LICENSE_FILE="/usr/local/lsf/conf/license.dat"
Or,
LSF_LICENSE_FILE="1710@mylicserver"
In the 2nd example, you'd to login to "mylicserver" and look for
the license file there.
In the LSF license file, there will be several lines -- one for each
FEATURE that you purchased. If you have added LSF licenses over
the years, you'll also see INCREMENT lines for some of the features.
You should see something like:
FEATURE lsf_base lsf_ld 7.000 20-FEB-2007 150 ...
So, there are 150 "lsf_base" licenses, which expire Feb 20, 2007.
If the date is "1-Jan-0000", that means it's a permanent license
(never expires).
