Default How to port your Symphony 3.1 application profile to 4.0 application profile?

You may have a legacy 3.1 Symphony application that you want to run on 4.0. As the 4.0 API maintains backward compatibility, there is no need to port your source code. However, you do need to port your application profile to 4.0 to run your application successfully on Symphony DE 4.0.

Instead of changing the raw XML file, there is much easier way to port your XML file. Simply follow the short steps as shown below.

1. Open DE PMC

2. Add application using the profile editor

3. Click "Import" button

4. Browse to the profile (XML file) and click import

5. In step 4, your 3.1 profile will be automatically converted to 4.0. Click "Register" to add your profile. Note that you need to deploy your service package first.
