Scenario

You wish to launch the Management Console but do not know the URL.

Steps

On Windows:

Click Start -> Program -> Platform Computing -> Symphony Developer Edition -> Platform Management Console

Or

Right click on Symphony DE Control Panel tray icon -> Platform Management Console




On Linux:

1) Run command start_agent -u
2) Paste URL into browser




Limitation

The URL returned by start_agent -u may display hostname in short form, without fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
